Dryvit Systems, Inc. Corporate Color Manager Philipp Kessler was at TEXTERIORS in May to facilitate the transition from the standard pigment tinting system to the new StratoTone colorants. Philipp trained TEXTERIORS staff on the new Hero tint machine and Datacolor Spectrophotometer. The combination will assist our staff with color matching of all standard Dryvit finishes.
StratoTone colorants offer the highest level of performance, which is what our customers have come to expect from Dryvit. For the first time in our industry, architects can now specify virtually any color, on any project and get a warranty against fading. StratoTone colorants can be used in all Dryvit pigmented, textured finishes, as well as in the company’s Demandit®, Weathercoat™, Weatherlastic® Smooth and Revyvit® coatings. In addition to its enhanced resistance to UV degradation, StratoTone pigments are VOC and APEO free, meeting the most stringent environmental and regulatory requirements.
The StratoTone special color warranty guarantees the finish and coatings will contain fade resistant pigments that will not fade in excess of ΔE* CMC II 5 (CMC 2:1, Commercial Factor 1, as per ASTM D2244-2€1) when applied in accordance with Dryvit’s written specifications and application instructions.
